There is an opportunity for Casual hours Wardens who typically work 15-30 hours per month, mostly on weekends, but also help to provide holiday cover. Casual hours Wardens are contacted about available shifts and asked if they would like to work – there is no requirement for you to accept these shifts if offered. It is a varied and hands-on role that involves dealing face-face with the public and helping us to care for countryside and heritage property. You will be part of a small team of full- time, part-time and casual hours Wardens who have responsibility for supporting the visitor, wildlife and heritage management of Wandlebury Country Park, Coton Countryside Reserve and other sites owned by the charity.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Estates Team at Wandlebury Country Park. Working as part of a small team and under your own initiative you will help to care for and enhance the park. The role will be very varied and you will carry out a range of tasks including opening and closing the park, checking livestock, communicating with visitors, supporting events and habitat management.
If this varied role, working in the grounds of a 17th century estate, appeals to you then please click here for full details and an application pack.
Closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 1 February.
