11am – Introduction by Cambridge Network

11.10 – 11.40am – Headline sponsor Cresset. Join a talk by Dr Susan Henderson – Head of support. After receiving a PhD in organometallic chemistry from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Susan spent 12 years as a Marketing and Communications Scientist at the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre. Susan joined Cresset in 2018 as a Support Scientist and is now Head of Support. In this role she manages the support desk, working with scientific and technical experts to deliver excellent application support to customers. Susan is also responsible for creating support material to demonstrate the features of Cresset software solutions. Current roles at Cresset include; Online Marketing Specialist, Marketing Executive, Discovery Services Scientist plus others.

11.40am – 12.10pmSartorius . A company presentation by Liliana Tomic, International Talent acquisition Manager at Sartorius. Sartorius, empower scientists and engineers to simplify and accelerate progress in life science and bioprocessing, enabling the development of new and better therapies and more affordable medicine. 12.10pm – 12.55pm– Career workshop by Sarah Stones at Plain Sailing Motivation. Sarah Stones is a Motivation Specialist and a coach, who is passionate about helping people to shine. She combines her knowledge of intrinsic motivation and positive psychology with a practical, solutions focused approach to improve engagement, wellbeing and achievement. 1.10pm – 1.40pmOwlstone Medical. A company presentation – Owlstone Medical is developing breath tests for the early detection of lung and colorectal cancer. These are two of the most common cancer killers worldwide and represent multibillion dollar market opportunities. The company has an active clinical diagnostics/screening pipeline including the world’s largest breath-based clinical trials. The Breath Biopsy platform is also being deployed in the PAN cancer trial, a collaboration with Cancer Research UK studying the early detection of eight different cancer types in breath.
